OUR FAMILY STORY

Renel & I met in Haiti during my first year living full time at H2H (2006). Pastor Luc (the founder & leader of H2H) is Renel’s uncle and raised him since he was young… Renel’s parents live in Bouva, a very poor mountain village in northwest Haiti, where there was no opportunity to go to school. We connected immediately (with some help from Renel’s older brother, Enorck!) and were married in 2009… 3 months before the big earthquake. Hasannah was born in 2012 and Jelani arrived in 2013. We have a home in Grande Goave, Haiti that connects to H2H’s compound. Our driving passion is to see the next generation of Haitians rise up and become leaders in their own country.

My mantra:

"Help me to see as You see and do as You say" (not sure who said it originally?!?)
