The H2H school officially opened today! The classes are meeting under the "church tent"... a bit crowded & noisy but it's great to see a bit of normal returning.
And what is more normal than kids playing on the playground at recess!
And on a personal note... Renel and I moved back into our house several weeks ago (although we have had to run out a few times for aftershocks... which isn't fun at 2am) and today we hooked up the gas stove... rice & beans, without the smell of charcoal, has never tasted better!

So glad you are able to be back in your home and own bed - I remember you writing how much you missed it.
It is wonderful that some things are returning to 'normal' - whatever that may be. Normal has always been a mystery to me because it continually changes but having the children back in school is wonderful as is the sight of them on the playground.

Yeah!!!! You're back in your house. I trust you will be sleeping much better now too. Love how things keep moving forward and each new day brings you one small step closer to getting things back to "normal". We continue to pray that the Lord would give you deep rest at night and His great strength during the day to continue to press on to His high calling as you serve the children at H2H. Wow, It brought tears to my eyes to see how so much was done when the containers arrived. I am touched that you included the locals and you are befriending them! More for the Kingdom! Way to go Haiti Team. We will pray you home. It's raining here and were expecting SNOW! Yikes Carolyn
