Knitting Lessons

Yesterday I started giving Kenny & Woodly knitting lessons - they're unusual students (from a North American perspective) but they're doing great!

Rebecca,

I am so excited to see you return to knitting - since I discovered your blog on Ravelry - and I know the healing power of string, sticks and time. Your boys aren't so unusual even in the states - many schools have a knitting or crocheting unit - I know my son learned in school. He didn't continue but was excited when I started teaching his girls to crochet.

Hugs and may the knitting continue. There is a group on Ravelry that uses knitting to boost the mood and be an inspiration - K1 - I can P1 master this K1 I can P1 feel great.

You get the idea.

Love, prayers and hugs - may you all get better each day.

We have a knitting club in our school and one of the boys I watch after school knit a beautiful fuzzy scarf for his grandmother! He was so proud of his accomplishment - as were the rest of us! Hope it keeps going and they can complete some great projects!
